5am flight. woke up at 3am.

caroline, kathy woke up early to say goodbye.

joe took us to the airport. Rich and Bernice had a 6am flight to DEN as well but weren’t able to check in early enough to say goodbye at the gate.

Jen got one final stumptown cappuccino…

At LAX, met up with kinza. tried to get in the KAL lounge but they did not open the lounge to  priority pass members till till noon. To make matters worse, LAX is the worst airport in the world. Moving from terminal to terminal required long walks.

Terminal to terminal bus rides were available but not very convenient. we had lunch at PF Changs. had the mongolian surf and turf. jml had the ahi poke bowl with chicken lettuce wrap. kinza had a kids bowl of veggies and rice. we then wen to the KAL lounge, stocked up with a bowl of ramen, a bunch of breakfast sausage, quiche and couple of cups of latte.
