Day 01 | Barcelona

  • Stop #1 – La Granja 1872 for Churros y Chocolate, also the namesake of my Spanish 1A textbook in 7th grade… the churrros weren’t as crispy as the ones I’ve had in Mexico City, the chocolate was crazy good, like a melted chocolate bar in a cup 😉

First stop for Churros y Chocolate and coffee for me… — La Granja 1872.
A little tour through the old Roman ruins of Barcelona at the MUHBA, underneath the city. WOW. Really amazing way to learn about and actually see the history of the city.
Second food stop: Eating Pinxtos and drinking some vino tinto (red wine) from Rioja…
eat what you like and count up the toothpicks to find out what you owe.
