Our plan today was to eat a quick breakfast then drive up the island to Secret Garden to climb. Breakfast at Fatolitis Taverna — a very local place with great coffee and omelets — which were HUGE.

Secret Garden is on the northern end of Kalymnos and is shaded all day — another spectactular view, even the approach which was a bit longer but more meandering (less straight up the hill). Goats peppered our journey and as did their calls to eachother.

We did have one curious and/or stubborn goat that wanted to join in on the climbing. At one point I think Amy tried to pet it! It was at the start of one of the routes Steve was about to climb… those horns were a bit intimidating.
